Overview
ToolBox3D is browser-based 3D software for previewing, modeling, rigging, animation and texture painting. It is free and currently in early development. We respect your privacy: ToolBox3D runs entirely in your browser, has no accounts, and does not show advertising or use analytics. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Data We Collect
- No account data: ToolBox3D has no sign-in and no user accounts, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords.
- Preferences in your browser: the editor saves your interface preferences and layout — such as theme, interface scale, panel widths and whether the channel box is collapsed — in your browser's local storage so they are restored on your next visit. This data stays on your device; it is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- 3D work: everything you do in the editor is processed entirely in your browser. Nothing you create is uploaded to a server.
- Server logs: like any website, the servers that deliver ToolBox3D receive technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to deliver and protect the website (see Third-Party Services).
What We Don't Store
- We don't store your 3D models, scenes or files.
- We don't store accounts, profiles or payment details — ToolBox3D has none.
- We don't use analytics, tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
Advertising & Cookies
ToolBox3D shows no advertising and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The website loads no third-party scripts, and its fonts and images are served from toolbox3d.app itself.
If we introduce advertising, accounts or analytics in the future, we will update this policy before they go live and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Third-Party Services
- Cloudflare: hosts and delivers the website and the editor, and may process request data (including IP addresses) for security and performance. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as ToolBox3D develops. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
